Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (Honor Guard) conduct a funeral for U.S. Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Frank J. Tedone at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, April 24, 2025. Tedone was serving as a gunner onboard a B-24J Liberator bomber while on a mission from Panagarh, India when his plane was reportedly hit with enemy anti-aircraft fire, causing it to crash. He was accounted for by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency on Feb. 20, 2024, and returned to his family for burial with full military honors. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Ashleigh Maxwell)
