CW5 (Ret.) Michael Fried is recognized by Brig. Gen. Steve Landry, Deputy Commanding General of operations for I Corps, during a formation outside I Corps Headquarters, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, on April 10, 2025. The event marked the 80th anniversary of Fried’s liberation from the Nazi concentration camp Lager Westerbork and honored his continued full-time volunteer service with the 201st Expeditionary Military Intelligence Brigade.
