U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Jason Vanegas, transportation management coordinator assigned to the 889th Movement Control Team (MCT), an U.S. Army Reserve unit from Salt Lake City, Utah, recieves an award for his contributions during Operation Juniper Micron from U.S. Army Lt. MCT’s are crucial for ensuring smooth and efficient logistic operations, particularly during deployment and large scale exercises. The 79th TSC (FWD) provides trained and ready logistics units for worldwide operations and deployment in support of Army Service Component Commands as well as joint task forces, including the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) in Italy and Africa.
