U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), honors the 889th Movement Control Team (MCT), an U.S. Army Reserve unit from Salt Lake City, Utah, for their contributions during Operation Juniper Micron at Caserma Del Din, Italy, April 16, 2025. The 889th MCT, part of the 191st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, 364th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), deployed to Vicenza, Italy for a 9-month rotation supporting the 79th Theater Sustainment Command (Forward) and SETAF-AF. MCT’s are crucial for ensuring smooth and efficient logistic operations, particularly during deployment and large scale exercises. The 79th TSC (FWD) provides trained and ready logistics units for worldwide operations and deployment in support of Army Service Component Commands as well as joint task forces, including SETAF-AF in Italy and Africa.
