Scott Nakahara, Hawaii Regional Maintenance Center(HRMC) speaks with Lt. Cmdr. Yuko Ando, staff member of the Cooperative Logistics Section, during a tour of the shipyard. The visit was part of an engagement with members of the Japan Maritime Staff Office to strengthen partnerships and increase understanding of shipyard operations. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility mission is to keep the Navy’s fleet “Fit to Fight" by repairing, maintaining, and modernizing the Navy's fast-attack submarines and surface ships.
