Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Toby Spoon, a Sailor assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, guides a P-8A Poseidon, assigned to VP-5, at Keflavik Air Base (KAB), Iceland, April 13, 2025. VP-5, the ‘Mad Foxes,’ were transporting service members from Commander Task Force (CTF) 67 to tour the facilities and speak with service members from VP-46, VP-69 and Tactical Operations Control Squadron (TOCRON DET) 11 currently operating out of KAB. VP-46 and VP-69 are on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support warfighting effectiveness, lethality and readiness of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and defend U.S., Allied and partner interests in the region.
