A P-8A Poseidon assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 5, the ‘Mad Foxes,’ lands at Keflavik Air Base (KAB), Iceland, April 13, 2025. The ‘Mad Foxes’ were transporting service members from Commander Task Force (CTF) 67 to tour the facilities and speak with service members from VP-46, VP-69 and Tactical Operations Control Squadron (TOCRON DET) 11 currently operating out of KAB. VP-46 and VP-69 are on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations to support warfighting effectiveness, lethality and readiness of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, and defend U.S., Allied and partner interests in the region.
