U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Frederick Carver, 96th Bomb Squadron pilot, gives Bossier City police officer Kenny Gallon a tour of a B-52H Stratofortress during the 2025 Defenders of Liberty Air Show at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., March 28, 2025. In 2023, Gallon was struck by gunfire after responding to a gas station robbery. Since the shooting, Gallon has received a Medal of Valor along with multiple community awards for his service in the police force and within the local community.
