The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration hosted this year’s National Vietnam War Veterans Day ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Washington D.C., March 29, 2025. On this day, marking the disestablishment of the United States Military Assistance Command, Vietnam, and the departure of the final U.S. combat troops from Vietnam in 1973, the formal ceremony the laying of three wreaths by various honored guests and concluded with a moment of silence to honor all veterans who served in the Vietnam War, as well as their families, for their service, dedication, and sacrifice.
