U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Lorelei Smith, an administrative specialist, and Gunnery Sgt. Antonio Mondragonmarin, the administrative chief, with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3 high five each other during a soccer game with the senior men’s team of the Mindil Aces Football Club during a sporting event held in Darwin, Australia, March 29, 2025. The club is one of the largest single code sporting clubs in Darwin that provide a welcoming, family-oriented environment for all to enjoy playing association football within the community. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
