Naval Supply Systems Command tows UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters belonging to the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division from the pier to the airfield at Naval Station Rota in Rota, Spain. NAVSTA Rota is the primary base utilized for Army aircraft flow in and out of Afghanistan. About 57 aircraft were transported through Rota on their way to Operation Enduring Freedom.
