U.S. Soldiers with the South Carolina Army National Guard attend the Month of the Military Child proclamation at the State House, Mar. 25, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. During the event, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster designated April as the Month of the Military Child in South Carolina while also recognizing the role which Purple Star Schools play in supporting military youth across the state of South Carolina.
