Sgt. 1st Class Andrew Deunger (mid-left), an Austin, Texas, native, takes the sacramental bread from Chap. (Capt.) Eric Dean (right), a Chattanooga, Tenn., native, during a Christian church service at Joint Security Station Washash in Baghdad May 15. Dean, who serves as the battalion chaplain with the 1st Battalion, 64th Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, which is currently attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), MND-B, comes out to the JSS once every other week to conduct worship services for the Soldiers who serve with Company D, 1-64 AR. Deunger serves as the platoon sergeant with the 1st Platoon, Co. D, 1-64 AR.
