250220-N-CY609-1035 MCAS Iwakuni, Japan (Feb. 20, 2025) — Seabees assigned to Naval
Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 participate in loading material into a Portable
Concrete Mixer for an Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) Concrete Pad training evolution with
Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171 at Marine Corps Air station
Iwakuni. The purpose of this training evolution is to enhance Rapid ADR repair skills while
improving combat engineering interoperability on MCAS Iwakuni. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-
in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction
operations and supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of
