250220-N-CY609-1034 MCAS Iwakuni, Japan (Feb. 20, 2025) — Seabees assigned to Naval
Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 participate in loading material into a Portable
Concrete Mixer for an Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) Concrete Pad training evolution with
Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171 and Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron
(H&HS) Seabees at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni. The purpose of this training
evolution is to enhance Rapid ADR repair skills while improving combat engineering
interoperability on MCAS Iwakuni. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for
Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations and supporting major
