U.S. Army Military Working Dog (MWD) Bori and handler Spc. Brian Hormel, part of a K-9 team assigned to Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, along with Coalition members assigned to Task Force Lamassu search for explosives during a training exercise at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Jan. 4, 2025 The training combined MWD explosive detection skills with the French Explosive Ordnance Disposal team to search for Improvised Explosive Device components and ammunition in hostile areas.
