U.S. Navy Culinary Specialist 1st Class Michael Farmer and Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Presley Whitworth assigned to the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) were selected to attend the Super Bowl in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility Jan. 20, 2013. The John C. Stennis was deployed to the region conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
