BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Dec. 18, 2024) — Builder 3rd Class Thomas Depippo, from Attleboro, Mass., and Utilitiesman 2nd Class Anthony Garcia, from Las Vegas, Nev., assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, work together to raise and secure the eave strut in preparation for installing roof panel sheeting. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion is capable of supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
