BAUCAU, Timor-Leste (Dec. 17, 2024) — Builder 3rd Class Thomas Depippo, from Attleboro, Mass., and Construction Electrician 2nd Class Jason Duke, from Temecula, Calif., assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, organize and inventory materials for a pre-engineered building. Their efforts ensure construction can proceed efficiently and on schedule. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments. The battalion is capable of supporting major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
