Two U.S. Army soldiers in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) camouflage are interacting with children in what appears to be a school gymnasium or cafeteria. The soldiers are turning a jump rope while a young girl in a yellow shirt and jeans jumps, with other children and adults visible in the background engaged in similar activities. The scene depicts a community outreach or school visit event involving military personnel.

Pfc. Anthony Mercurio, an unmanned aerial vehicle repairer for the 2-3 Brigade Special Troops Battalion “Titans”, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, jumps rope with a student as another student and Sgt. Neil Connolly, also an unmanned aerial system operator for 2-3 BSTB, swing the rope at Richmond Hill Elementary School, Feb. 26. The Soldiers and students are participating in just one of many activities held during the Jump Rope For Heart event held at the school today and the day prior. According to the American Heart Association, “Jump Rope For Heart is a fun event where you can jump rope, learn about your heart and how to keep it healthy, while raising money for the American Heart Association.” If you would like to help them or any other team raise money for the American Heart Association, go to www.heart.org/jump and search for your team and donate today!
