Pfc. Carl Hayes, Pfc. Eric Snider and Spc. Robert Maddox, 108th Quartermaster Company, 530th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 82nd Sustainment Brigade, jogg toward a U.S. Navy UH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter Feb. 21 at Fort Pickett. The three performed a fueling procedure called a hot refuel because fueling takes place while the aircraft's engines are still running during the Southbound Trooper exercise held Feb. 17-23, designed to increase interoperability between Cananadian and U.S. forces and strengthen bonds between the two countries.
