A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron carries a small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) wing during a UAS operator certification event, Oct. 25, 2024, within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Designed to certify air defense operators, the event was a hands-on experience, preparing 16 members from the 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron for future base defense and force protection at the U.S. CENTCOM’s theater gateway.
