On Jan. 15, the Puerto Rico National Guard initiated a state mobilization, Operation TFSF, in which troops will conduct surveillance missions in conjunction with the PR Police Department and other state and federal agencies around ports and shorelines. The intent of these missions is to reduce drug trafficking, and other illegal activities across the island.
