Sailors assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG-97) man the rail as it arrives at its new home port of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Feb. 14, following a successful hull swap with USS Russell (DDG-59) in San Diego in January. Halsey will provide deterrence, promote peace and security, preserve freedom of the sea and assist in humanitarian/disaster responses as one of 11 surface ships of Commander, Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific.
