U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Elijah Swain, 20th Civil Engineer Squadron emergency management journeyman, references a response checklist binder for an inventory count of equipment in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear response trailer at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Aug. 29, 2024. The trailer is used when responding to any CBRN or hazardous material incident on base. Its mobilization allows for a faster response, while still having access to all necessary safety gear and equipment needed to accurately identify potentially dangerous threats so areas can be rendered safe, allowing operations to continue.
