Military members from a Coalition Observer Liaison Team (COLT) receive a brief about exercise Cobra Gold 2013 Feb. 13, Chiang Mai province, Kingdom of Thailand. The COLT is comprised of representatives from the People's Republic of China, Laos, New Zealand and South Africa. CG 13, in its 32nd iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective response to regional crises by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
