III Marine Expeditionary Force   

Lance Cpl. David J. Callahan provides security for a medium tactical vehicle replacement towing an M777 A2 155 mm howitzer Jan. 29 in the North Fuji Maneuver Area during Exercise Fire Dragon 13-2. While in the North Fuji Maneuver Area, Marines convoyed and conducted reconnaissance, scouting, occupation and positioning drills to prepare for the live-fire portion of Fire Dragon. Callahan is a field artillery cannoneer with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
