U.S. Army Soldiers from the South Carolina Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 151 Aviation Regiment, 59th Aviation Troop Command, and emergency responders with the South Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (SC-HART) return from a mission transporting a technician to repair a down communication tower in Table Rock, South Carolina, September 28, 2024, The downed communications tower served critical communications infrastructure for parts of North Carolina and South Carolina. SC-HART is a partnership between aviation units of the South Carolina Army National Guard and the South Carolina State Urban Search and Rescue Task Force. The South Carolina National Guard is providing response and recovery support across the state to areas impacted by Hurricane Helene.
