NAVAL BASE SAN DIEGO (Sep. 26, 2024) - Vice Adm. Brendan McLane, commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, is rung off as he leaves the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14) following a visit to the ship Sep. 26. McLane, as well as the crew's families, welcomed Manchester home from an 18-month deployment Sep. 11. During this visit, McLane spoke with the commanding officer about the deployment.
