Iraqi policemen and U.S. Soldiers secure the area moments after a car bomb exploded in Eastern Baghdad Aug. 8. The attack wounded a local resident who was treated by U.S. medics and then taken to a nearby hospital. Another local and two U.S. Soldiers suffered minor injuries and were treated on the scene. The driver was killed. The attack came while a U.S. civil affairs team was investigating car bomb that exploded just a few feet away July 13 killing one U.S. Soldier and 24 Iraqi children.
