Two U.S. Marine Corps FA-18D Hornet aircraft taxi down the runway prior to taking off Feb. 11 at Wing One Royal Thai Air Force Base, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand, during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. RTAF and USMC aircraft participated in bilateral flight exercises the first day of CG 13. The exercise develops multinational solutions to common challenges and ensures Thailand and the U.S. are ready, along with allies and partner nations, to respond to crises. The aircraft are assigned to Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 224, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
