U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Evan Carrizales, with the 3rd Battalion, 126th Infantry Regiment, Michigan Army National Guard, is baptized by Capt. Gabriel Marquez in Eagle Lake at Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta Mich., Sept. 7, 2024. Marquez is the Chaplain for the Michigan National Guard. Chaplains tend to the spiritual needs of service members, along with other areas covered by the Army's Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Program.
