Command Sgt. Maj. David Harris, outgoing command sergeant major of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, center, retrieves the brigade colors from the 1st Cavalry Division honor guard team during a change of responsibility ceremony on Sept. 5, 2024, in Zagan, Poland. Command Sgt. Maj. Harris served as a senior enlisted advisor to the brigade since July 2022 and he will return to Fort Cavazos, Texas, to assume new duties.
