Nina Kazibwe, security cooperation directorate, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), receives an Army Civilian Service Commendation Medal (CSCM) from Lt. Col. James Miller, international engagement chief, SETAF-AF, during an award ceremony at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Aug. 29, 2024. Kazibwe earned a CSCM for her adaptability to changing circumstances and leadership to ensure the success of the African Land Forces Summit (ALFS). ALFS is a forum for senior leaders from land forces across Africa, the U.S. and other partner nations to solidify relationships, exchange information on current topics of mutual interest and to encourage cooperation in addressing challenges.
