Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Aircraft Handling) 3rd Class Zavion Covington, from Opecika, Alabama, assigned to air department’s flight deck crash and salvage division, signals a ‘thumbs up’ on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) during a crash and salvage drill while underway in the Pacific Ocean, Aug. 25, 2024.
