U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Karen Monday-Gresham, commander of the 7th Mission Support Command removes the command chaplain’s stole from chaplain Lt. Col. Raymond Ayers shoulders during a changing of the stole ceremony, Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at the Daenner chapel in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Ayers served as the command chaplain for the 7th MSC for four years. His service takes him to the 76th Operational Response Command in Salt Lake City, UT, where he will be the command chaplain.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of the U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
