U.S. Army Reserve Brig Gen. Karen Monday-Gresham, commanding general of the 7th Mission Support Command, bestows the command chaplain’s stole on the shoulders of chaplain Lt. Col. Kenny Honken as he assumes the role of the 7th MSC’s command chaplain.
Honken assumed the role as the command chaplain for the 7th Mission Support Command, accepting the responsibility to provide guidance to the command team and pastoral care to the headquarters and their subordinate elements.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of the U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
