Educators Orientation Visit Aboard USS Louisiana

PACIFIC OCEAN (July 24, 2024) Master Chief Torpedoman’s Mate Chris Smith, USS Louisiana’s (SSBN 743) Chief of the Boat, looks over the ship’s helmsman during an Educators Orientation Visit (EOV) aboard the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine USS Louisiana July 24. The EOV is a Navy Recruiting Command program with the focus of showing educators the various facets of the Navy and the many career paths available to students. Navy Recruiting Command consists of a command headquarters, three Navy Recruiting Regions, 18 Navy Recruiting Districts and eight Navy Talent Acquisition Groups that serve more than 1,300 recruiting stations across the world. Their combined goal is to attract the highest quality candidates to assure the ongoing success of America's Navy. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Tiarra Brown)
