Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti meets with Rear Adm. Oliver Berdal, Chief of the Royal Norwegian Navy for an office call at the Pentagon, Aug. 6. While in Washington D.C., the two leaders had multiple engagements to include a full-honor’s welcoming ceremony, an office call and a roundtable, where the two heads of navy discussed the enduring nature of the U.S.-Norway naval alliance, as well as their shared commitment advance interoperability and increase combined capability to safeguard the Arctic and the High North.
