APRA HARBOR, Guam - (April 15, 2024) Navy Diver 2nd Class Phil Livecci, assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), assists Navy Diver 3rd Class Sean Espinosa, also assigned to Frank Cable, out of the water after conducting underwater maintenance on the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Annapolis (SSN 760) in Apra Harbor, April 15, 2024. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repairs, rearms, and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region. Annapolis is one of several submarines assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron (CSS) 15. CSS-15 is located at Polaris Point, U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG). NBG is strategically located to support all submarines deployed to U.S. 7th Fleet and is home to several Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarines.
