U.S. Marine Cpl. Frank S. Wright, a WWII veteran and World War II survivor, poses in front of the memorial fountain alongside Guam WWII survivors during the Hågat memorial in Hågat, Guam, July 19, 2024. Hågat, previously known as Agat during WWII, was one of landing sites for the American invasion back in 1944. Wright served as a member of the 4th Marine Raiders Special Forces fighting in WWII battles such as Guadalcanal, New Georgia, Guam, and Iwo Jima.
