U.S. Marine Cpl. Frank S. Wright, a WWII veteran, raises his arm during the Hågat memorial in Hågat, Guam, July 19, 2024. Wright served as a member of the 4th Marine Raiders Special Forces fighting in WWII battles to include Guadalcanal, New Georgia, Guam, and Iwo Jima. Hågat, previously known as Agat during WWII, was one of landing sites for the American invasion back in 1944.
