Aachen, Germany (July 2, 2024) - The U.S. European Command Joint Color Guard, led by SFC Tevin Burnett (in front), carry the colors to open the 100th iteration of the World Equestrian Festival (CHIO-Aachen) held here. A crowd of nearly 40,000 witnessed the spectacle of the opening ceremony, which honored the United States as the guest nation. The color guard (l to r) SSG Elliot Singsaas, SSG Cornelius Smith, ABH1 Jude Wayi, Airman First Class Trinity Ortiz-Gonzalez, and SSgt Leonardo Macedo Jr., carried the colors on the huge Reitstadion, which measures 150 x 120 meters.
