Aachen, Germany (July 2, 2024) - The U.S. European Command Joint Color Guard opens the 100th iteration of the World Equestrian Festival (CHIO-Aachen) held here. A crowd of nearly 40,000 witnessed the spectacle of the opening ceremony, which honored the United States as the guest nation. Shown (l to r) SSG Elliot Singsaas, SSG Cornelius Smith, ABH1 Jude Wayi, and Airman First Class Trinity Ortiz-Gonzalez, carried the colors out onto the huge Reitstadion, which measures 150 x 120 meters.
