Staff Sgt. Jason Soria Olvera, Staff Sgt. Adrian Ramirez-Orozco and Tech. Sgt. Maurice Tooles, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations departures specialists, prepare to raise a training mannequin into a casket using a body crane lift during casketing training, June 13, 2024. The departures section is the last stop at AFMAO. After a series of checks, to ensure everything from the casket to the uniform are in pristine condition, the remains will travel to their final resting place via air or hearse. Soria Olvera is deployed to AFMAO from the 433rd Force Support Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Ramirez-Orozco is deployed from the 439th Force Support Squadron, Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts and Tooles is deployed from the 512th Memorial Affairs Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.
