Hugh Fricks at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, June 25, 2024. Personnel with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency and attending family members paid their respects and honored the life of Fricks, who was assigned to Company D, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, and served in the Battle of Tarawa during World War II.
