Peruvian navy Lupo-class frigate Coronel Bolognesi (FM 57), Peruvian navy replenishment oiler Tacna (ARL 158), and Peruvian navy Pohang-class corvette Almirante Guise (CC 28) sail in formation with Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) as part of a bilateral exercise between the U.S. and the Peruvian navy in the Pacific Ocean, June 24, 2024. Porter is deployed as part of Southern Seas 2024 which seeks to enhance capability, improve interoperability, and strengthen maritime partnerships with countries throughout the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility through joint, multinational and interagency exchanges and cooperation.
