Soldiers from Det. 1, Bravo Company, 777th Aviation Support Battalion (ASB) conduct aircraft maintenance on the UH-60 Blackhawk and UH-72 Lakota helicopters on June 8, 2024 at Camp Robinson, Ark. The Aviation Support Battalion is the backbone of overall flight operations by maintaining the airworthiness of the approximately 20 Blackhawks and 8 Lakota helicopters assigned to the 77th Theater Aviation Brigade (TAB). They constantly and meticulously inspect the helicopters to correct flaws that would otherwise keep the aircraft grounded. Their attention to detail help ensure safe execution of operations continue and aircraft are ready to respond to the call.
