U.S. Marines with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, scope in during exercise Resolute Sentinel 24 at Salinas training range, Peru, June 11, 2024. The Marines were conducting a breaching range and practiced a sniper synchronized breach where the snipers shot at a target before the detonation of a charge. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among the United States, France, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil.
