A broken door lies on the ground during exercise Resolute Sentinel 24 at Salinas training range, Peru, June 11, 2024. Marines from the 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, conducted breaching range operations, constructing makeshift doors and rooms to practice using explosives. RS24 is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored exercise that consists of comprehensive joint training opportunities aimed at enhancing regional security and interoperability among the United States, France, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil.
